Bespoke Lampshade case study - Wallpaper lampshades
One of my favourite parts of making lampshades is making bespoke orders for my customers! This also includes Copper interior lampshades for those wanting a bit of metallic joy in their lives. Bespoke lampshades are where a customer sends me the fabric of their choice and I transform this into a ceiling lampshade or table lampshade of the size they choose!
Now, when I say “fabric of choice”. this also includes wallpaper of choice! Recently, a lovely customer contacted me as she had some leftover wallpaper that she wanted to use to make a pair of lampshades. The lampshades would perfectly finish off the room she was decorating!
She chose a 15cm diameter lampshade as this would fit within the width of the wallpaper, with a 20cm height to best showcase the beautiful design. The wallpaper of choice was Rabarber - a really unique wallpaper design full of vibrant, floral drawings.
Whilst we were planning the 2 Rhubarber lampshades, my customer decided to also use up some other wallpaper to create a lampshade for her daughter’s bedroom.
So, what do you think? Would you like to see some more wallpaper lampshades in my collection? :)
